MAX don't detect NI 9211 with NI-USB bus

Hi, I'm really new to this measurement and automation.

I'm currently connect NI-9211 with NI-USB  bus to my laptop (windows 7)

I had installed all the driver needed ( LabView 9.1, MAX 4.6, NI-DAQmx 8.7 )

The DAQ is installed correctly, and the USB is working well (LED blinking)

However, when it came to MAX, it doesn't even detect the DAQ (under Devices and Interfaces)

Does it true that the DAQ will not functioning if I'm using OS Windows 7 rather than XP?

If not, is there any chance that the driver wasn't installed properly / additional drivers are required?

All the help and answers are really appriciated. TQ

----UPDATE----- from the previous thread <> it's stated that i ought to patch my current DAQmx driver, the question is do the patch is valid for DAQmx 8.7? or I have to install another version similar to those patch? p/s: there are no other devices attached to my laptop.

You should strongly consider upgrading your version of NI-DAQmx.  NI-DAQmx 8.7 doesn't support either Windows 7 or LabVIEW 2009.  The latest version is NI-DAQmx 9.3.
