My Nidaq 6036E crashes my computer

Hi all,

My first problem is that I am not able to get any output on my digital out line of my NIDAQ 700 card while it is acquiring the analog input data without any problem. Can anyone suggest what might be the problem and what can be the possible solution.

For that above reason, I am compelled to use one more NIDAQ I have i.e., 6036E and I am using MATLAB version 6.5 ( release 13 ) and data acquisition version 2.2 to acquire data . I do not know if that version of MATLAB supports the DAQ card, but it crashes the system once I start acquire Data.

The MATLAB people say that the bug is fixed in the 2.5 DAQ version and given a link to upgrade to 2.5 version but that seems to be not working .Can anyone help me on that

Hi Achanta,

Are you using LabVIEW to operate your card? What version of DAQ are you using? DAQ version 7.1 supports your 6036E card and is compatable with your Matlab Data Acquisition toolbox 2.5.

I am assuming you are using this toolbox.
