I am attempting to use the external reference input with AO (Analog output channel 0) to scale the output. Has anyone done this successfully or tried & failed? I have a PCI-MIO-16XE-10 (6030E equivalent) with a CB-68LPR block (low profile right angle). The manual indicates that what I want to do is possible. If I connect +5v to J20 (AO Ext. Reference In) then I would expect the AO-0 (J22) to be either uni-polar 0 to 5 or bi-polar -5 to +5. I can make the uni/bi selection on MAX Test Panel, but the AO-0 uses the internal 10v reference. I do not find a selector for int/ext reference. Is there an external reference selector? Have I missed something?
