NI 6211 ramp signal and counter generating

Hi All,

 

My aim is to generate a ramp signal and a continuous pulse signal as a clock.

For the ramp signal I have 540 steps (520 up (from -3v to 3v) and another 20 down (from +3v to -3v)). For every voltage step change in the ramp signal, there's a pulse.

I have attached my vi. The running error code is 201025.

The rate for both signal is the same - 1/(30*540)

I appreciate any type of the help!

I changed switched the sequence of DAQmx vi and the start vi. It seems can be run continuously without showing any error. However, if I connect the oscilloscope to both AO and PFI ports, no wavefront output is seen from the oscilloscope. Does anyone know why?

In case I upload my latest vi.

There are several reasons things aren't working as you'd like.  I made some minimal changes to your code from msg #2 and made brief comments about what and why.  I can't run and test it here but it should at least put you much closer to a good starting point.
