NI-9205 What is the connection on the back side

Hello, 

I am trying to use my NI-9205 and am wondering what I need to get started using the product. 

Please advise on the connection I need and any software required to enable product functionality. The front connection is a Dsub connector, but I do not know what the back connector is, or what it needs to connect to.

Hi Chris,

The back connector is a proprietary connector to an NI chassis, either a compactDAQ or compactRIO. You need one of these to use the module.

If that is all you have and you are connecting to the PC there is a 1 slot USB carrier which will be easiest - I think it is the cDAQ-9171 off the top of my head
