NI 9237 with sensor where RS and TEDS are on the same wires

Is it acceptable to connect TEDS and remote sense lines together on the NI 9237?

I am using a NI 9237 connected to a loadcell that has TEDS and remote sense (RS) on the same wires, see attached picture. There is a section in the NI 9237 Getting Started document that says that TEDS cannot be connected to any AI lines, which I originally interpreted as any analog input, including RS. There are, however, actual pins labeled AI, so I'm not so sure that is the case.

Please share the user manual for the load cell, see if the manufacturer recommends any method to split the sense and TEDS lines.
