NI 9265 combining two outputs for a 0-40mA current range

I have a project that needs a 0-40mA current control and the 9265 is specified to 20mA. Is it possible to combine two of the outputs to increase the current range?

Yes you can combine both of them, I recommend you to connect a diode in each output to current protection.
