Hi,

 

Will there be 64 bit version of the NIDAQmx driver for the Mac?

Hi whemdan,

 

DAQmx does not currently support Mac.  DAQmx Base is NI's current Mac driver for DAQ products (it is based off of LabVIEW and VISA), but there is not a 64-bit version.  If demand was high enough this is something that we could look into but we do not have specific plans for the immediate future.

 

If you do require 64 bit Mac support, I would fill out a Product Suggestion to help NI assess demand and prioritize development.

*Edit:  I just noticed that you specifically mentioned DAQmx Base in the title of your post, please ignore the first sentence (although it is true that DAQmx does not currently support Mac).
