Hello,
I am using LabView Student Eddition 64 bit on a few different computers.
OSX Mavericks, Windows 7 and 8.1.
I need to use NI DAQmx base for a project to maintain a crossplatform VI, but am unable to get the DAQmx examples to function on any Wndows machine. Uppon loading the VI Labview begins loading dependencies. At first it was not finding any of the DAQmx dependencies, however I changed the search path to look into the DAQmx derectory. Now it finds all of the dependencies but attempts to load and comple damn near every file in the DAQmx directory. Even after all this the VI will not function ctiting various "not executable" errors.
Attached is a screengrab of the search window that attempts loading 2500+ files.
Thank you for your time!

Hi kaipyroami,
When LabVIEW begins loading the dependencies for an example, are the DAQmx Base dependencies not found on both Windows 7 and Windows 8 machines? What example are you trying to open or does this occur for all examples?

Jordan G.

MJ (Jordan G),
All dependeicies are not found (7and 😎 until I add each individual directory to the path. It takes 20-30 minutes for everything to load and compile but still show errors of missing dlls.
I am not able to use any dynamic example in the DAQmx base examples. (not sure about static, have not tried yet)

Hi kaipyroami,
Would it be possible for you to attach a screenshot of the error of missing DLLs you are receiving? Do both machines not find the same DLLs?
Just for clarification, what version of DAQmx Base are you running on all three machines?
Regards,
Jordan G.

Sorry for the late reply.
I can't post all of the missing dlls as there are just too many.
It takes over 30 minutes to even get to that point anyway.
I fail to understand why the software seems to feel the need to load and compile everything in the labview example/library directories.
Even if it did find all of the files there is a far more fundamential error at work here.
lib67xx.dll
LibESeries.dll
LibMSereis.dll
LibDIO96.dll
LibmiteDma.dll
LibSSeries.dll
LibUSB-92xx.dll
More screengrabs attached and the warning file.

Hi kaipyroami,
I'm not entirely sure from your description, but this appears to be your setup:
You have LabVIEW 2013 32-bit installed on
You have LabVIEW 2013 64-bit installed on
Is that correct?
