NI FC_6004 is not available, is other choice?

Hi,

I use a CF_6004 for my pda application (a handheld vibration analyzer), but NI say that " CF_6004 is not available  ".

My handheld use in an industrial environment, so iPad and smart phones are not good selection.

I use a Rugged PC (PDA) with CF support. 

Is there other DAQ for use with PDA (and in industrial environment).

Hi Mirza11,

There is no direct compact flash replacement for our CF 6004. However, we do have many other options for multifunction DAQ. If you are looking for the most rugged hardware we supply, I would steer you towards our Compact RIO platform, which we have thrown off the roof of our parking garage without breaking it. Our reasonably rugged platform is our Compact DAQ system, which is used in many industrial applications. If you were looking to go slightly more inexpensive, I would direct you towards our USB devices and our wireless devices. We sell multifunction DAQ, such as our 6008 and 6009, that are inexpensive and still provide reliable data acquisition.

Another thing you might want to try is to contact our 3rd party companies that resell our devices. It is possible that they might have one or two still in stock. I can double check if we are still doing repairs if you currently have your 6004 available to send in.

No matter which direction you decide, I recommend that you contact your sales representative to discuss your options. Let me know what you decide.
