Dear users,
I am experiencing a problem with my DAQ device (PCI 6115):
one of the analog output (AO) channels (AO1) seems to be disabled and won't
generate signals when tested on self-test panels on Automation & Measurement
explorer. AO 0 works fine.
I double checked the cable and the terminal block, and it seems like
nothing's wrong with either of them.
What is the likely cause of this problem?
Thank you

did you only verify the problem inside MAX? Try to generate the voltage with MAX, and meausre AO1 with a fluke to be double sure. When you try to generate the voltage in MAX for AO1, do you get an error or not?

Helllo,
I confirmed that AO1 is disabled in my VI's as well as in MAX...
When I generate voltage for AO1 in MAX, no error message pops up, but I still don't see any output signal...
I also tried resetting the device in MAX, and tried the DAQ board in another computer but this problem wouldn't go away.

I just checked the AO1 output with the DMM right out of the board, but still no signal..

Well, according to you, you have a signal (10V), it's just not what you expect.
I don't see anywhere you said you have run the diagnostices. You would have to do that first before contacting NI for an RMA.

I tried self-test multiple times, and it always passes. And it still exports 10V at AO1..

here they are: one windows shows AO1 on MAX, the other AI0. (Usually I monitor AO1 on an oscilloscope, but I did this for screen capture, and still gives me the same results).
