I'm relatively new at instrumentation and I would like some help with data acquisition through NI-USB 6251. I wish to store data recorded from a camera (binary or .mp4 file) directly into my device without using a computer system or laptop as an intermediate. The problem is that the camera has only USB output wire which cannot go into the DAQ (the USB from DAQ will go to the laptop for processing the data that would be stored in DAQ). I am currently using a laptop to store and process data from the camera but it is not able to handle so much load. I was hoping to use DAQ as an intermediate between the camera and the laptop so that the laptop memory is fully utilized for data processing after the data has been stored. Please feel free to correct me if I have made any conceptual mistakes in my post. Any help in this regard is appreciated.
