Hi,
We want to duplicate a setup where a NI USB 9237 module to measure a load cell.
However in the new setup, we want to use an external timebase : We would like
to trigger the measurements with encoderpulses to measure position-based in stead of time based.
Do I need an extra digital I/O-USB module in a cDAQ-chassis, and select a digital input channel from this
module as the time base for the USB9237-measurement?
Are there alternatives?
Thx,
Thomas.

I don't see any external clock pin on the NI USB-9237

Me neither 🙂
that's why I am asking if it is possible to use an input from another module as an external clock source.

It sounds like you'd need to do some sort of software synchronization as mentioned in that link I posted.
Hopefully the links provided by the NI Application Engineer will be helpful to you.
