NI mydaq software suite

Is "myDAQ software suite" free for who bought an NI mydaq hardware, or it must be paid?

Over 200 views and not a single reply! I bought one recently and downloaded the suite but I have no way to activate it. The web links in the guide are unreachable. Now I have a piece of plastic ornament on my desk!

I have the same unit given to me as a gift 10 years ago. It came with a disk that had all the software including LabView and the activation label printed on the pouch.

To use the NI-myDAQ with LabVIEW you can:

• reference the NI Hardware and Operating System Compatibility page which at time of writing shows the following minimum versions of Windows and DAQmx support (visit the page directly to see the full up-to-date support list):
  
  
• reference the NI-DAQmx and LabVIEW Compatibility page to see which versions of DAQmx support which versions of LabVIEW. Note as of writing the chart has not been updated to include NI-DAQmx 2022 Q3 but the README for NI-DAQmx 2022 Q3 shows compatibility with LabVIEW 2022 Q3.

If using the NI-myDAQ for hobbyist / non-commercial use then you should be able to use the free LabVIEW Community Edition with NI-DAQmx and reference the above to find tables to find a supported version of LabVIEW and DAQmx for your system.
