NI or 3rd Party 100 MS/s A/D for CompactRIO

Is there a fast A/D for CompactRIO (NI or 3rd party)? Need minimum of 100 MSamples/sec, 8 bit resolution.

The fastest AI C Series module is the 9221 at 800 KS/s.

Thanks for the response.

Do you know if NI has anything faster in the works?

How about a 3rd party?

Hi Red Sox Fanatic,

Could you tell us a bit more about your application?

Our FPGA-based solutions for higher frequencies typically come in a larger form factor than the cRIO (e.g. PXIe 5641R).

Depending on what you need exactly, another option might be to go with something like the 5142 which has On-board Signal Processing which covers common DSP type applications (though by no means is it as flexible as a full-fledged FPGA).

If you let us know your application I can give the best recommendation--I am not aware of any cRIO solutions for high frequency analog acquisition.

Best Regards,

Just noticed that I gave the Signal Sources link for OSP and you wanted to acquire data...

Here is the link for the OSP available on the 5142 (again this is just an example--we can give more specific recommendations with a better idea of what you need to do).

Best,

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I am unable to discuss the application - I know it makes helping me difficult! We did start working with an NI Applications Engineer who has suggested similar NI solutions. I guess I was more curious to see if there was a 3rd party cRIO module available.
