NIDAQ831 creating conflicts on Fujitsu laptop

I am having some odd problems that seems unique to a Fujitsu Lifebook Q2010 laptop. Some components of NIDAQ831 are creating what appears to be three problems.

The first is a seemingly random fatal blue screen errors on shutdown that generates this error code in XP Pro: Error code 1000000a, parameter1 00000000, parameter2 000000ff, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 806d4ef2. I haven't found a sequence of events that always causes the error but once DAQmx and NI MAX are uninstalled, the problem goes away.

The second is what appears to be a conflict with a network resource that only manifests itself when I try to use the updater for the Miktex application. Again, this problem only arose after NIDAQ was installed and persists when DAQmx and NI Max is uninstalled.

The final problem relates to standby mode. The computer enters standby but will not return without completely rebooting. I have turned off standby but it would be nice to resolve the issue so the laptop is less likely to drain its battery. Once DAQmx is gone, the problem goes away.

I have used all these software products on many other desktop PCs and laptops and only the Lifebook Q2010 gives me trouble. I have no data acq hardware installed, just NI software. I need components of Daqmx installed so I can work on LabVIEW code that requires vis from DAQmx.

Any advice on what is causing this would be appreciated.

Hello 27bender.

It seems that the problems that you are having spawn from the specific type of Laptop you are using.  If you have had success on other other PC's and laptops with the exact same software, this seems to be the only logical explanation.  This can sometimes spawn from computers that have a BIOS that are not completely within the PCI BIOS Specification.  For more information on this error and a workaround, please refer to the following knowledge base article.
