Why doesn't NIMAX 4.6.2, with NI-DAQ 7.4.4 legacy, recognize the first IRQ on an AT-AO-10 when I have two IRQs configured? It only recognizes the device when a single IRQ is configured. Will this affect the operation of the board? I have tried different IRQs, different combinations of multiple IRQs, reserving the IRQs for legacy ISA in the BIOS, etc. The only thing that I can do to get the board recognized is set it to a single IRQ, even though the default is two IRQs and a DMA.
I am converting a system from Windows 2000 to Windows XP. The original system had 3.02, with NI-DAQ 7.1 and there were no problems. The board is ok.
Also, I am in a new computer, with a higher end processor and board. everything in Windows seems to indicate there is no problem, it is only when I am in MAX that any problem is indicated.
Again, I don't mind using a single IRQ, I am not doing anything too intensive and the processor is much better with more memory, etc, so I don't think I'll be adversely affected. I am just looking for an explanation and reassurance.

I wish this link were part of the search results for AT-AO-10...

grrrrr.....
what a waste of time and money. There was no indication in any links to the device that it was not supported in XP. Consider this closed.
