Hello,
I have a NI 9205 I am using to read the data from a 3 wire pressure transducer. However I am not sure how to connect it properly. I have a the + signal wire going into the NI 9205 AI0 port. The transducer needs an excitation voltage from of 15V-30V which I am providing a from a DC output. I am connecting the positive terminal to the + excitation wire, and the negative terminal to the - excitation wire, so that power is being supplied. The - excitation also acts as the COM.
When I run with this set up I am not getting good data. The voltage being read jumps everywhere.
I have tried running the NI 9205 in DIFF, NRSE, and RSE mode, but nothing seems to be working. So I know I am not connecting the pressure transducer up properly.
Any information to that will point me in the right direction is appreciated.
Thank you!

Make sure, which wire is positive excitation (supply to transducer) and which one is poisitive signal (output of transducer). Now the connection should be:
In Diff mode:
Signal Out (+) = terminal 1 (AI0)
Commin = terminal 19 (AI8)
In RSE mode:
Signal Out (+) = terminal 1 (AI0)
Commin = terminal 17 (COM)
In NRSE mode:
Signal Out (+) = terminal 1 (AI0)
Commin = terminal 35 (AI SENSE)
