Hello,
I am using a NiDAQPad 6015 to acquire 8 thermocouples (SC 2345), the acquisition is done through ViLogger 2.0. The laptop I'm using is very old and I would like to replace it by a new one. What do I need to install on the new laptop to have the acquisition run? I have no installation CD, can I download a driver on NI.com? Which one to choose to work on Windows XP, actually I have NiDAQ mx 7.5, but should I choose a more recent driver? Is the MAX automatically installed when I install the driver?
Thanks in advace for answers

Hi Aude,
install the latest DAQmx driver. The measurement & automation explorer comes with the driver.
Download DAQmx 9.0.2

Now install the VILogger and everything should work fine.

Thanks for the answer. I did install the driver and the MAX got installed too and everything is working fine. IT service of my company is asking me if I need a license to do this.
I also would like to install VI Logger Lite 2. I saw that it could be installed for free, but in the downloaded package, there is a folder licences, that says that the product sould be registered and that it can be installed on at most 3 computers. Does this also apply for the free VI logger Lite software?
Thanks in advance for answers.
