Newbie: DIO-96 / VB Notfiy When Line Change?

Hello,

I'm new to DAQ programming and need some help for an upcoming project.

Using VB6, I would like to write a program that fires a VB event whenever
the state of one of the digital input lines of my DIO-96 card changes to
high (1), so I can log the event in a file. Maybe the event could recieve
some parameter with information which line has changed state.

I understand that there is a GeneralDAQEvent control that could be used to
do that. Has anyone done this before? I would appreciate any suggestions
and/or sample programs.
