Ni 6220

Dear Sir,

I am new to LAbVIEW and using the DAQ NI 6220, LabVIEW 8.6.1 for the past one month. I am trying to interface the thermocouple with the DAQ and to get the change in voltage with respect to the temperature changes. I read through the user manual of DAQ. I am using it in double ended mode. But I dont know what values of resistors and capacitors to be used in the R22, RC12, R23, RC13 and RC4. Can anyone tell me how to determine the values?

Also I am trying to use the PFI11 and PFI12 pins for the counter applications. But I am unable to find the pins? Where can I acces that?

How to access the Port1 and Port 2? In the SCB-68 quick reference list there is only access for port 0 ie., only port 0 is mentioned?

Thank you

Hi,

To acquire thermocouple data using a 6220 and scb 68, visit this link and look at pg.9.

I'm not sure how you are planning to use PFI 11 and 12 for counter applications. The pins that you have mentioned are for DIO purposes. You have specific

lines to do counter applications (have a look at the screenshot attached). You can find the PIN outs for your device in MAX ( right click on the device in MAX and click on Device Pinouts).
