Ni USB 9263

Hy everybody,

My NI USB 9263 is not working.

I'm using LabVIEW 7.1 and the NI-DAQmx 8.8.

I'm able to run my 6009 and 9481 with my PC, but when I try to run the 9263 I always get some error messages.

Error message from DAQ - Assistant:

Error - 50150 occurred at DAQ Assistant

Possible Reason(s):

The software has entered an unknown state - usually as a result of a cascade od a failure induced by an unexpected series of state inputs. The operation could not be completed as apecified and you should immediately terminate all further transactions if you are able to do so.

Erroe - 200486 occured at DAQ Assistant

Possible Reason(s):

Measurements: Specified channel is not in the task.

Channel Name: VoltageOut

The result of the selftest (Measurement and Automation Explorer) was error 88705

Has enybody an oppinion what's wrong with my 9263 or how i have to install it?

Hello Tom,

This error message is returned because the NI Device Loader Windows Service (or 'nidevldu') is not running.

To properly start the service and ensure that the service is always started at startup follow these directions:

1. Go to Start » Control Panel » Administrative Tools » Services
2. Right click on NI Device Loader Service (may be listed as 'nidevldu')
3. Select Properties
4. Set the startup type as Automatic
5. Click the Start button.
