We are using a 6224M DAQ card for reading voltages from accelerometers. When we use long cables (>25 meters) we get noise on the line. If we use the same cables and feed them to a laptop based 6036E DAQ card, there is no noise! Any ideas?

Sounds like ground-loop problems. The laptop no doubt floats, preventing ground loops.
