Hi Crimson77,
Thanks for your post and I hope your well today.
If I understand correctly your PCI 1200 isn't seen in MAX or XP, is this correct?
Secondly, was the device working before?
The PCI 1200 requires the NI-DAQ (NOT DAQmx) driver software, Version 6.9.3 or earlier. If you check understand Software in MAX you should be able to see if the software is installed correctly. If you don't have it installed you can download it at ni.com/downloads.
When you install the driver make sure the PCI 1200 isn't connected to the computer. Then power down, fit the card and power on again. You should then see the windows 'Found New Hardware' message. Alter windows to device the driver automatically. To check that this has been completed successfully open Windows Device Manager (under Control panel) and find the PCI 1200. If you click on it - it will its fine (status) or a yellow ! mark which means there is another issue with the driver.
In MAX the device (if the above is successful) should be listed under Traditional DAQ devices.
Please let me know if you have the correct driver and if you have an error (yellow ! mark) in windows device manager.
Hope this helps,
