i am using the PCI 6111 together with the SCB 68 for connections on a customized application , we have built the block diagram for our application for measuring certain parameters related to voltages and currents , in the beginning the calibration using labview was successful as well as the measurment , no lab view keep showing this message : one or more calibrations couldn't reach the current setpoint , unable to start measurement , so i was asking if there is a software for the the PCI 6111 which i can use for testing that everything is working well in the measurement card so that we can narrow our fields in searching for a solution for such a problem
Best Regards

Is your program generating the message or is LabVIEW? Is the program monitoring voltage/current or is it testing if the voltage/current is within a specific range?
If you go into MAX you should be able to right click on the PCI 6111 and click self test. There might also be a self calibration option as well, but I would verify what is generating the error before doing that.
Whenever a part fails testing the first question I get is that there is something wrong with the software/hardware. Eventhough the program had not changed for years, they still try to blame it for a failing part. But without more info about what you and your program are doing it is hard to say.

thanks Bryan for the quick reply , actually it is a project measuring the bio impedence from the body so i use voltage and current electrodes connected to the PCI 6111 to the the measurement and i am using the Lab view for doing that analysis , you asked also : Is the program monitoring voltage/current or is it testing if the voltage/current is within a specific range? it is first making sure the current is not exceeding 1 mA then start measurement after that , but when i start the lab view to start with the procedure designed ( do calibtration for current then do measurements , it shows this message , so i was asking do you know what could be the solution for such a problem . thanks in advance

Did you write the program or know who did?

Hi Khaled,
Is it possible to post a screenshot of the error-message?

Thanks alot for the help , i really appreciate that , the problem was solved when i updated all the NI application either the MAX , the studio , the lab view and etc to the latest version as well as i resoldiered the usb connections that are connected to the card from my electrodes . so i guess it was a software problem
Thanks again for the follow up and if i got any further question i will send it with photos
