PCI-6224 identified under PXI bus

Hi everyone

I had a recent problems with the DAQ assistant crashing Labview that I could not resolve, so I uninstalled the daqmx drivers and th measurement and automation explorer.  I dont have the crash problems in labview anymore, but the pci-6224 card shown up under the pxi device.  I am using labview 8.0, daqmx 8.7.1, and MAX 4.4.1fo.  Any idea why I cant see the card in MAX?

Hi bry0n,

When you reinstalled the DAQmx driver, did you take out your  PCI card before reinstalling your driver?  One thing to try would be switching the card to another PCI slot.  If that doesn't work, I would take the card out, uninstall DAQmx, reinstall DAQmx, then put the card back in the computer.  If this does not work, you should try another computer.  If this card is not recognized on the other computer, it may be damaged.

I did not remove the card prior to installing the drivers.  That may be the problem.  It's been a while since I had to do that and had forgotten the procedure. I'll give that a try.  Thanks!
