Hi Steven,
If you want to bring in 24v from your relay to the digital input of the 6229, this will not work as the DIO lines work on TTL Logic (0v-.8 is low, 2.2-5.25v is high) and 24v volts is too high and will damage the card. If you want to drive 24V out from the digital lines, this is not possible either for the same reason. If you have a relay (feed through for 24v line) which works on TTL logic, then yes, you can control this relay with a digital line.

Hi Steven-
As David mentioned, the limitation for the digital input lines of your card are 5V logic. If you need to operate with 24V logic levels, I would encourage you to check out the Isolated M Series (for example, the PCI-6232).
