PCI-6723 Can't be detected in Device Manager of Windows

I have my PCI-6723 inserted in the chassis of my x86 PC. But I find that the Device Manager of Windows XP can't detect this hardware. Sometimes, I can detect a PCI device in Device Manager but with a question mark on it. What may be the cause of this phenomenon? Does it mean that PCI-6723 is not well-installed in the PCI slot?

Hi su27,

I would suggest you several ideas which can help you to solve this problem.

-make sure that you have installed proper device drivers, in your case at least NI-DAQmx version 7.3. But also check that the NI-DAQmx driver supports your version of Labview, for example NI-DAQmx is supported just by Labview 7.x

-try to switch the PCI slot where is the card connected

-if driver is already installed, try to reinstall the device driver
