PCI card

Hi All,

My setup,

2 PCI card.

Both card are on PC's PCI card slot,

both running perfectly functionally, but sometimes one of the PCI card is not detected.

When the PCI card is taken out from its slot and then Reinserted in the slot the PCI card is detected.

What can be the possible reason for the above.

To answer your question we need a bit more information.

EXACTLY what models are the PCI cards?

Does only one of them fail to show up intermittantly or, do both suffer the same problem?

What version of drivers are you using?  (e.g. if the card is a DIO what DAQmx version? or if its a GPIB card what version of NI-488.2 is installed?

What is the Operating system? 

If you post a screenshot of MAX with the "devices and interfaces" expanded and "Software" expanded we will be able to see this information.  Please remeber to save the file as a *.png before you attach it.
