Possible to operate a 6036E PCI with a PCI-PCIE adapter

Hello,

Im having a legacy 6036E PCI device which I still want to use. Problem is, my PC does not have PCI slots available. I do, however, have a standard PCI to PCIE adapter. 

Question is: does anyone have experience using an adapter with PCI devices? I am wondering if voltage levels etc. are the same for PCI and PCIe  .

What PCIE to PCI Adapter can be used?
The answer is you have to test it, because it depend on the motherboard also on the size of the PC slot, because this extension need more space
