Problem of new user about NI USB-9233 & USB9162 carrier

I just bought the NI USB-9233 & USB9162 carrier.

After the DAQmx (ver 8.3) has been installed, I tried to build a easy program in LabView 8.2.

when I put the DAQmx Assistant Block, there came out an error: VI version is later than the current LabView Version.

Does the new DAQmx can't be compatible with the LV8.2, which I thought was the latest one.

what I need to do in order to make it work?

Hello lyrock,

NI-DAQmx 8.3 is the correct version for use with LabVIEW 8.2 and the NI USB-9233. However, the order of installation may affect whether or not the driver is associated properly. Did you install LabVIEW before NI-DAQmx or NI-DAQmx before LabVIEW? Did you select LabVIEW 8.2 Support on the Features page when you installed the NI-DAQmx driver?
As a preliminary step, you may want to repair NI-DAQmx. In Windows XP, you can do this by going to the Control Panel from your Start menu. Select Add or Remove Programs and you should see your Add or Remove Properties window. From there select the National Instruments Software category and click on Change/Remove.  That will open the National Instruments Software window, where you should see NI-DAQmx 8.3; select NI-DAQmx 8.3 and click Repair to repair the software.
