It is hard to determine exaclty what is causing that error with the information provided. Have you verified that your NI DAQ device is working properly on your machine, either through another program or through Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX)? What version of NI-DAQ do you have installed on your machine? You are probably using the MATLAB DAQ toolkit to perform these operations. The best bet is probably for you
to contact Mathworks to see if they have some example m files you can use or if they have documentation on exactly what is causing that error.
