I've got a cDAQ-9135 system with a number of different c-type modules in different slots. When I log into the local windows on the cDAQ controller, and fire up NI MAX, and open up "devices and interfaces" then "NI cDAQ-9135 "cDAQ1"", not all of the modules show up. Specifically, I have an 8 slot system. I can see two 9213 modules in slots 1-2, and 3x 9205 modules in slots 4, 5 and 6. However I also have a 9219 module in slot 3 which is simply not appearing in the list. I have tried "view-refresh" but it makes no difference.
Any suggestions please? I don't think there is a hardware issue. It feels like a driver issue but I'm not sure what to do to solve it. I had expected the built in software to be fully featured on the cDAQ controller. Perhaps that was an unrealistic expectation!

Hi Dave,
Just some quick questions to narrow down a solution.
- Did the setup work in the past? (especially the NI-9219)
- What version of LabVIEW do you have installed and are these on the latest patches/ service packs?
- Did you try to plug in the troubled module in another slot?
- Did you try to do a self-test?
Kind regards,

Hi, thanks for your response.
1. Yes I think it worked in the past, although that was some time ago - we shipped the system to a remote location and are now controlling it remotely.
2. Labview 2015, version 15.0. I'm now upgrading, will let you know.
3. No. It's in a different continent unfortunately, but next time someone goes out there they can change it.
4. Yes. It does not show any problems.

Hi Dave,
Have quick look at that slot.
Also when you get the chance you could put it in another cDAQ to see if that works.
But there is a high possibility there is physical damage.
