I don't know if Pubudu saw your post, this thread was last active in 2006.  Have you had a chance to try the code posted previously?  Are you getting any errors/unexpected behavior with it?

I saw that this was last active in 2006 and was concerned about that, however I thought best to post anyways. Disregard the new username. 

With that particular chip we have created a VI that converts the 2's complement of the "DQ" output from the DS1620 however have been unable to test becuase we are having trouble getting LabVIEW to properly configure the IC so far.

Currently we have created a nested case structure inside of a flat sequence to try and pre-program the chip based upon the example listed on the data sheet. 

I will be back in the lab tomorrow to press on with the troubleshooting, any thoughts would be great. I could send a copy of what we have so far if you are interested.

I've not really worked with the DS1620 at all, but I can help with the 6008, what issues are you seeing?  Are you having trouble with switching directions on the line or setting up the read and write functions?
