Query about NI DaQ Windows base driver

Hi, I am using NI DAQ 6211 USB. I am using Windows7 os. I have to develop an application which will get voltage and current samples. I have installed NI DAQ MX device drivers for Windows. Do I also need to install NI DAQ MX run time engine also? Which DLL should I use to program my applications? Any help will be appreciated. Regards, Dinky

You should have everything you need if you have the NI-DAQmx driver installed.  What programming language are you planning to use to program your 6211?

You should be ready to start programming using our API. If you are using a text-based language, I would suggest reading the section "Using NI-DAQmx in Text Based Programming Environments"
