TC-01 is able to monitor the temperature, but it is varied. The range is 2 degree as sine wave. Any idea?

Do you experience it with another type of thermocouple in the same area, and what is the frequency of sine wave? If it's 50/60Hz, you may experience noise from power line, and should find a way to shield it. Using a software filter to remove noise is also an option.

I don't think so. The variation of temperature is really low frequency. It is about 1mHz.
Secondly, how do I set the CJC value? Built-in or constant?

Hi Jim,
For the variation in temperature, could you post a screenshot of what you see? Could you also explain what measurement you expect to see? What environment is the temperature being measured in and how far is this location from your TC-01?
Also for the CJC, I would recommend using built-in.

1mHz = ~16 minutes. Is the HVAC cycling? Is see that distinct pattern in ambient temperature on such a time scale in many ambient environments.
You may need to monitor with a second probe/meter to verify.

Good observation. I am also thinking of HVAC.
thanks

I have one question again. I'm using type K thermocouple. When I try to measure temperature of an incubator that is maintained at 39 degree C. When I start to measure, the measurement is started from 32 degree C and gradually increase. It takes 10 min to 35 degree C. Anyone know what's wrong?
