I'm using a NI-9162 USB carrier and a NI-9233 4 channel 24 bit ADC. To start with I want to view a simple TTL pulse from a signal generator. When I look at the signal using MAX the only "Input Configuration" available is pseudodifferential. When I view the signal the voltage is about -2 to 2 volts p-p. Not 0 to 4-5 volts as I would expect. The module seems to be AC coupling the input signal. The RSE mode is grayed out. How can I make this display the actual signal?? Any and all help is appreciated.
I now have 1 vdc on channel AI0 of the NI-9233. Using MAX and a virtual channel all i'm getting is a noisy .001 on the y-scale, which is supposed to be volts. I must be missing something very obvious but right now I can't see it.
The NI 9233 is designed for measuring acceleration and sound pressure using IEPE sensors. Note that you cannot disable the built-in 2 mA current excitation. If your application requires DC coupling and does not require excitation, another module like the NI 9234 or NI 9215 would be more appropriate, and you should contact your sales representative.
