Good day all,
I am upgrading a system to use a windows 10 machine and am trying to preplan any hardware upgrades I will need. Will the SC-2345 and SCC-68 still work correctly with a windows 10 machine? Will I have to upgrade my DAQ to an X series? If so, will both of these work with the X series when their manuals only reference E and M? I don't want to have to modify the code too much since the current system works. Would like to only have to modify NI-MAX configuration for new hardware...
Also, am I correct that SCC-68 will not allow for SCC-AO10 module due to SCC-68 only allowing for AI modules?
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks in advance!

Hello Queenlooners,
What DAQ card are you using with the SC-2345 and the SCC-68? Is relevant to check first if such card is supported by one of the compatible drivers of Windows 10 (DAQmx 15.1.1 and later versions) or at least potentially functional (Traditional DAQ 7.5). You can verify that in the DAQmx / Traditional DAQ readme files.
Now, if you want to see if the SC-2345 and the SCC-68 are compatible with an specific card (or family of cards) you can use this document from NI as a guide:
I hope this is helpful. Let me know if you have more questions

Thanks eorivia for responding,
I am still deciding what DAQ (or hardware config) to use in the new Windows 10 system. We have seen issues with Task assignments in MAX and LabVIEW 2014 and 2017 when using the SCC AI01 modules in the SCC-68 (using Windows 10 machine and PCI-6259 M-Series DAQ). The tasks do not work with this hardware/software/OS setup. If a task has more than one physical channel in it, the outputs will not follow their channels. Tasks only work if there is only one physical channel in them...which is not great for when you want to monitor several AI lines at once.
I have used the NI-9221 with NI USB-9162 on the same Windows 10 computer and the tasks work with it. Therefore, I am assuming either the DAQ or the SCC modules are messing up the tasks/not compatible with Windows 10.
The M-Series DAQ PCI-6259 should still work with Windows 10. So I think it is strictly the SCC-68 or SCC Modules that are causing problems.
Has anyone tried using this hardware with Windows 10?

Hey queenlooners,
I am pretty positive about the compatibility, but I got to admit I am not 100% sure. I have W10 and DAQmx 18.6 and I was able to simulate a PCI-6259 with SCC-68 and it seems to recognize the setup just fine (a SC-2345 was not between the accessories options though).

What X series and M series cards are you using? Also, what's the DAQmx version installed in your PC?
