SCB-68 and DAQ card PCI6035E

Hello to All,

I have SCB-68 and DAQ card PCI6035E. I want to use it to measure temperature and pressure. I have two questions.

1.Output of thermocouple is voltage. If I want to measure temperature and pressure in the same time, does the pressure transducer have to be voltage output? Can it be current output?

2.For SCB68, how to read the pin #? For example, I connect a thercouple to scb68, which two pin # shoud I use? I have the quick refrence label, but I don’t know how to read it.

3.I read a message about Cold Junction Compensation on the SCB-68 on NI website. When we measure temperature, should we always use CJC?

Thanks

Hey James,

I am glad you figured out your problem. Would you mind posting your solution so that if some other user ran into the same problems they would be able to see your solution here? Thanks!
