I resolved this issue. I had multiple instances of 'AO Update Channel.vi' and 'AI Sample Channel.vi' in a single sequence. These occasionally conflicted and caused Error -10401. By replacing these with a single instance of 'AO Update Channels.vi' and 'AI Sample Channels.vi' I eliminated the conflict. Please post this in your database as a possible cause of Error -10401.
This error originally occured in LabView 6i and also reoccured in LabView 7.1.
