Signal Reference; PFI Input

I have a USB-6341 X Series DAQ board.  I am trying to read a frequency and still unclear on how to wire the sensor.  If I wire the signal to PFI9 for example, where do I connect the signal reference wire?

Hi MeCoOp,

PFI is digital input, and you should reference it to digital ground. You can find this kind of information in X Series User Manual (page 8-5, 205 in pdf).
