Synchronize both counters on USB6218

Hi,

I need to use both counters on my USB6218 to generate 2 square wave signals, with one signal being 180 degrees out of phase with the other. i.e. when one signal is in the high state the other must be in the low state. I've attached my attempt to do this but it gives error -10503 (The specified resource is reserved. The operation could not be completed as specified) after I start the second counter (using DAQmx Start Task).

Any ideas?

Andrew

Here is my attempt at combine the two counter outputs into the same channel. It gives the same error as the original vi.

Andrew,

Can you post your vi in 8.2?

I don't know how to convert the file to a 7.2 format.

I thought there is a way in LV 8.5 to save a vi to version LV 8.2   Unfortunately I'm not running 8.5 yet.

I've worked out how to do it, both files are attached in the zip file.
