The Outputs of DAQ 6220 are getting high once the PC Shut's down.

Hi,

I am using DAQ 6220 along with SC 2350. I have configured Port 0 as Digital Outputs.

I have completed coding and testing, and while testing all lines in Port 0 behave as

per my codeing. Now the equipment is ON, and SC 2350 is also ON, I will Shut down my PC.

As soon as PC Shut's down completely, the lines belonging to port 0, become ON, which is

swithing on my devices at a wrong time. Now I remove the connecting cable between DAQ and

SC 2350, some go OFF while others still remain ON. Should I do something with the wireing

or with the software. ( I have used TEDS Class II Sensors on this SC 2350).

Please suggest,

Regards,

Sharath

Hi Sharath,

Can I ask you what type power module are you using with your board? Is it possible your power module is using an external power source?

Could you try measuring the +5 V power supply (pin 14) on your SC-2350 without the 68pin cable connected?

Hellow  S_Hong

Power Module used is PWR-02.

No external 5V Power Supply is used along with  equipment.

I just measured pin#14 and DGnd, and the status is

1) if the 64 pin conncector is connected the voltage measured is 5V

2) if the 64 pin connector is removed the voltage is 0V.

(Both cases PC is in ON condition.)

Is PWR-02 having some problem?

Regards,

Sharath.

Hi Sharath,

Could you give us a step-by-step instruction so I can see if I can reproduce the problem on my end? Please also specify which channels you are setting and measuring. Thanks.
