I'm using LV 2012 with a 9178 chassis to obtain measurements from a torque transducer with rated output of 2.00 mV/V (10V nominal excitation) and resistance of 700 Ohms. Almost all of our measurements will be in the vicinity of half the transducer's rated capacity. Given the hardware I have available, I've been trying to determine which option would give me the best resolution.
Option 1: use 9219 for excitation and measurement. This would limit my excitation to lower values and therefore reduce sensitivity:
However, the 9219 is a 24-bit module whereas the 9205 is 16-bit, so I'm not sure if that negates the reduction in sensitivity.
Option 2: use the 9263 to provide 10V excitation (or slightly less if it improves output stability), and use the 9205 for torque cell output. If I'm thinking correctly, I could also potentially use the 9205 to monitor excitation provided by the 9263 and adjust my measured values accordingly.
Mainly, as we'll be using this for some precision measurements I'm trying to select the system that will have the best resolution/accuracy and am at a bit of a loss on how to determine that. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Thanks for the reply, Alejandro. I'm kind of locked into the modules I listed based on time and budget constraints at the moment. I'll go through the article you linked and the others it links to for more accuracy calculation info.
