USB-6008 error : -50405

Hi,

I have strange problem with usb-6008 card. I generate signal (about 5V)  to my device using this card. When device is pluged to power supply it doesn't work or sometimes it works. Usually i can generate 5v signal twice. At the trird time cand hangs and i have this error -50405 (No transfer is in progress because the transfer was aborted by the client. The operation could not be completed as specified.). When my device isn't pluged to power supply then all is ok. I tested this device using labview and .net. Also when i was using test panels problem was the same. Anyone knows what is the solution ?

Im using NI-DAQ 8.6

thanks in advance

Hi ukk98,

Thanks for posting on the NI Discussion Forums!  This error usually occurs when communication has been lost.  When you say "When device is pluged to power supply it doesn't work or sometimes it works.", do you mean you are connecting the external reference of the USB-6008 to power some other device?  If so, the third party device may be drawing too much power.  If this is the case, you may want to power your third-party device with some other power supply.
