USB-6341 interferes with the keyboard

I'm assuming you have a USB keyboard/Mouse  If not, I'm out in left field with these suppositions----

Do you have the latest DAQmx?  This does NOT sound like the HID bug previously reported but does seem to be bogging down the bus.  See here for details

Check the Windows power options on the hub.  (control panel> hardware manager Is the OS "going green" and disabling power to the hub? See here for details

Last did you damage the device itself?  Does it work on another PC? Does it pass self-test in MAX?

I do have a USB keyboard & mouse (Logitech).  The 9.30 f2 NI-DAQ library is the only one installed.

I have turned off power management on all the USB hubs and will check to see if that solves anything after I post this (it seems unlikely as the problem mostly tracks the DAQ's presence), but I did notice another problem (several USB devices are flagged and this is when the USB DAQ is not attached).

Okay... I checked and the problem is still with me.  The keyboard is immediately disabled when I attach the USB-6341 and enabled the instant I disconnect it.

The DAQ passes self-test in MAX.  I don't have another PC available to check it out.

I am going to program as much as possible, then put the code and hardware on another machine when I make the drive into the office tomorrow.

The unknown USB devices are a puzzle; may have to investigate them, but the only real unknown was the hub on my monitor and I disconnected that.  Let's see what happens after I reboot.
