Unwanted DC offset in AO

Hi

I have an NI USB-6251 DAQ.

There is an unwanted DC offset of 10mV across my analog output.  As I want to output a sinusoid of about 0.5mVpp, this is a problem for me.
Any ideas?

Hey Jamie,

The USB-6251 is capable of three different output ranges: ±10V, ±5V, and ± external reference (APFI0). This allows you to narrow down the range of the D/A converter and can reduce the offset caused by inadequate resolution. Check out this document on Developer Zone. There is also a LabVIEW example that demonstrates how to access this functionality.
