Hi Dave,
There are a couple things we might try to troubleshoot this issue. If we do not have success getting the card running on the new computer then the card may have to be returned to National Instruments for repair.
The first truobleshooting step is to try installing the board in another slot of your current machine. If that does not work, you can try installing the latest version of the DAQmx driver from ni.com's Drivers and Updates page. This might take care of the issue, since this is a new computer, and the second error message mentioned that it was unable to find the DAQ.dll.
You can also try to install the board in an older computer. Try to find a computer that was purchased around the time the board was purchased or before. Ensure that you are using the correct driver for the board and operating system being used. If the board works in an older machine and not in a newer one the problem is most likely with the firmware for the board. The solution for this would be to update the EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) on the board. You will need to RMA the board to do this. When a board comes in for repair, one of the first thing National Instruments does is to update the EEPROM on the board.
A few questions: What is the part number of the card and about how long ago was it purchased? When you say that you ran an EEPROM updater, to what were you refering?
I hope this explanaion helps, and I will be interested to hear the results of these tests, Mallori M.
