Hello Vernster
The NI-9472 is a Sourcing Digital Output Module which means that the module’s digital outputs switch between an externally supplied voltage (Vsup) and ground (COM). The module itself does not supply the voltage and current. See the attached image.
This image is from page 12 of the NI 9472 manual.
The specification you mentioned is the maximum current that can be passed through one channel of the module not the maximum current the module can supply.
The NI-9472 can be used for your application if you supply the Vsup terminal with a 10V external power supply that is capable of outputting the 10 mA, however, if you want a constant power supply for your pressure transducer, it would be easier to directly power it with the external power supply.
Have a great day.

Hi Scott
We do not make any compactDAQ output modules that will be able to source 10V at 10mA. So if the relay that you want to control has the same power requirements as the pressure transducer you mentioned in your first post, then we can’t power it.
If you look at the spec sheet of the NI 9263, NI 9264, NI 9265, these are the only cDAQ modules that can source 10 V, but the current drive is too low on the NI 9263 (1mA per channel), NI 9264 (4mA per channel, MAX 16 mA per module), and the NI 9265 need an external power supply.
