Using cDAQ-9174 and cPF-1804 on the same PC

Hello

I am currently developing a setup, where I need to measure 3 strain based load cells, and implement them into an existing setup.

The existing setup is:

Multiple current measurements ---> cFP-AI-111---> cFP-1804 connected through Ethernet to Windows XP.

At the same time, I would like to connect the following setup through USB:

3 load cells ---> NI-9219 ----> cDAQ-9174 ---> USB to the same windows XP PC.

Is it possible to get data in the same VI?

Or will I be better of purchasing a cFP-SG-140 and mount it in the cFP-1804?

It's possible to get data in the same VI, but it'll not be synchronized. If your data change rapidly, and you need tight synchronization, I'dd recommend to add cDAQ module for current measurement, since cDAQ is much faster than cFP.

Unfortunately I can't change the current set up. Is there going to be a problem having the Fieldpoint driver and DAQmx driver installed on the same PC?
